I have been practicing yoga for over ten years and became certified through Providence Power Yoga in 2021. As a former athlete and runner, I first tried yoga to round out my exercise routine and was honestly skeptical. When I finally took an anatomy class in college with a weekly yoga lab and learned how to do the poses from the ground up, my mind was blown. It became the best part of my week and a habit I’ve maintained ever since.

As I continued to practice and experiment with different styles of yoga, I learned that it goes far beyond the poses. I quickly fell in love with the spiritual component of practice and appreciate the opportunity to be present and leave your worries at the door.

It is my mission to create an open community of compassion and respect where students feel empowered to improve their practice and take their learnings into the world. To me, yoga is a vehicle to feel strong and confident in our bodies and to find greater meaning in life. To accomplish this, I create balanced classes with opportunities to flow and be still, to reflect and silence the mind, and to challenge yourself while still feeling safe. I can’t wait to explore these dualities with you and hope to see you in class soon!
