Studio Policies

  • Our in-studio space is limited to 20 students per class to allow comfortable space between students. Please align the top edge of your mat with a marker on the floor.

  • Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. If proper attire is not worn, the staff at Radiance Yoga can prohibit participation in class.

  • Remove shoes in the front lobby before entering the studio. No shoes are permitted in the studio or anywhere beyond the front lobby.

  • Two restrooms are available and can be used as changing space.

  • Bring your own mat or rent one of our brand new Jade mats for $3. Mat rentals are always free for members. Jade mats are available for purchase at the front desk.

  • All other props are provided.

  • We encourage students to bring water. We have a fresh water fountain for refills and our reusable water bottles are available for purchase at the front desk.

  • Please leave all personal belongings in the front lobby cubbies. Our doors are locked during class times. You agree that we are not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal property you bring or leave with Radiance Yoga.

  • Arrive 5-10 minutes early to check-in at the front desk and settle in for your practice. When class begins our front doors lock and late arrivals will not be permitted to enter class.

  • New students must sign a waiver prior to their first class. This can be done on Mindbody when you sign-up for class. If your waiver is not signed, our team will stop you at the front desk before class begins. You can view our current Waiver Agreement for complete terms.

  • Please silence all devices when you arrive. We love for you to take photos + videos before and after class but please be mindful of other students.

  • Please wipe and return all props to their storage area after class and leave our yoga home tidy for the next class.

  • Our therapeutic infrared heat is ON for all classes. We are a heated studio and cannot adjust the heat for individual preferences. Heat ranges from 80-95 degrees in all classes.

    • Foundational Flow, Rockin’ Vinyasa and Yoga Sculpt are heated to 80 degrees. 

    • Power Flow and Power + Restore are heated to 85 degrees

No-Show + Cancellation Policies

Classes

If you can no longer make a class, please cancel your reservation at least 4 hours before the class begins to allow another student to attend. To cancel, please login to your Mindbody account and cancel your reservation. If you need assistance, please email info@radiance-yoga.com or text 413-676-2007 with at least 4 hours notice.

Any notice below 4 hours will be considered a “late cancellation.” A student who does not show up for class will be considered a “no show.”

“Late Cancel” and “No Show” fees will be applied as follows:

  • Drop-ins and class pack classes will not be refunded/credited in the event of a late cancellation.

  • Members will be charged a $15 late cancellation fee.

Workshops + Special Events

You must cancel 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop or special event to receive a refund. Refunds will be credited to your account to use for a future service. To cancel, please login to your Mindbody account and cancel your reservation or you can email info@radiance-yoga.com or text 413-676-2007 with at least 24 hours notice.

Private Lessons, Private Classes + Appointments

You must cancel or reschedule all private lessons, classes or appointments with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations less than 24 hours will not be refunded. To cancel, please email info@radiance-yoga.com or text 413-676-2007

Waitlist Policy

Our classes are often full and we encourage students to add themselves to the waitlist as there is a high likelihood that they will still make it into class due to cancellations. When you sign-up for class, please pay close attention to if you are adding yourself to the waitlist. 

  • Signing up using the Mindbody smartphone app (recommended): The button next to the class will say “Waitlist” rather than “Sign-up”

  • Signing up using our website: The class will say “Waitlist only” under the teacher’s name.

When a class is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist. 

Please note that by adding yourself to the waitlist, you’re agreeing by default to take the class if a spot becomes available more than 4 hours before class begins. 

If a spot becomes available more than 4 hours before class, you will be auto-added to class and you will be notified via text.

Important: In your Mindbody profile, be sure you’ve “opted in” for text messaging.

Please confirm by responding “Y” or “N” to the text message. 

  • Responding “Y” confirms that you are coming to class.

  • Responding “N” removes you from the class and you will not be charged a no show fee.

  • If you fail to confirm “Y” or “N” and do not make it to class, a no show fee of $15 will be charged since you were auto-added to class.

If a spot becomes available less than 4 hours before class you will not be auto-added to class because we do not want you subject to no show fees with such short notice.

Instead, one of our team members will text you to confirm if you still want the spot. Please respond within 15 minutes. If we do not hear back within 15 minutes we will move on to the next student on the waitlist. No late cancel charges will be incurred if we do not hear from you or if the spot is not accepted because you will not be added to class.

Late Policy

Our front doors lock once class begins. Please be on time for class to avoid being locked out and to be kind to your fellow yogis who are settled in for practice. If the door is locked, your visit will count as a “no show” and be subject to our cancellation policy above.

  • If a team member is at the front desk and therefore able to let you in, you will be permitted to enter class up to 5 minutes late. 

  • Students who are more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed to enter class even if a team member is at the front desk out of respect for everyone else’s experience.

Please note: We are a small studio and do not always have a team member at the front desk. In this case the teacher may hang around the lobby a couple extra minutes checking students in but when they are ready to start class the door will be locked. Once class begins we want our teachers to give their full attention to our students that have arrived on time, and they will not be able to check phone messages, stop class or let you in.

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Memberships, classes, multi-class packs, fees for special events and workshops, yoga teacher training tuition and all other purchases at Radiance Yoga are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Membership Policies

Membership Contracts

When you become a member at Radiance Yoga you enter a month-to-month membership agreement. This agreement will remain in effect unless you cancel it following the instructions below. Memberships required a credit or debit card stored on your secure Mindbody online software. Important membership terms are highlighted below. Membership Cancellation Policy

To cancel your membership and autopay please email info@radiance-yoga.com with a 7 days notice prior to your next autopay. Refunds will not be issued for membership payments that were not canceled with 7 days notice. Refunds will not be honored based on lack of utilization. Prorated refunds will not be granted based on utilization. To cancel you must email info@radiance-yoga.com 

Membership Pause

A member may temporarily suspend their membership by written request to info@radiance-yoga.com at least 7 days before their next scheduled billing date. A member may freeze their membership once every 12 months for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 consecutive months. We do not prorate membership dues. Once the freeze ends, the membership will continue at the same rate and payments will commence.

Member Access

Membership access applies only to regularly scheduled classes. Special events, workshops, teacher training and series require additional payment. Your membership dues are based on a set monthly fee and will not be adjusted or refunded based on your actual attendance of Radiance Yoga classes.

Important Communications

If you do not remain subscribed to our text and email communications, we cannot guarantee that you will receive important communications regarding waitlist status, class schedule changes or other important account information. Please remain subscribed to our Mindbody text and email notifications and ensure that your mobile phone number and email address are updated.

Expiration Policies

Drop-in Classes expire 14 days from the date of purchase. Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Multi-Class Packs expire 1 year from the date of purchase. Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Special events, workshops, teaching training and series require an additional payment. Credits for these services expire 1 year from the date of purchase. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Gift cards do not expire and can be used for any service or product sold at Radiance Yoga.

Age Policy

Children 13 years of age and older may come unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian after a liability waiver has been signed by a parent or guardian. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Radiance Yoga reserves the right to discontinue usage for any person whose behavior is offensive or disruptive to any other person.

Children are not permitted to wait in the lobby or sit in the studio while parents participate in class. Any person at the studio is expected to be actively and respectfully participating in the class or program provided.

Media Release

We think you’re awesome and want to show you off! By participating in the Activities at Radiance Yoga, you agree to grant us the irrevocable right to use your image, likeness, photos, video content, and audio recordings captured of you during the Activities or that you share with us online (via your own or others posting of you) as part of our online streaming, marketing and sales throughout the world and in perpetuity. You also release us from all claims you may have relating to such use. Please let us know if you ever want us to stop using an image of you.

COVID-19

Masks are now a personal choice at Radiance. When you sign a waiver at Radiance, you agree to not come to Radiance if you are sick or know that you have been exposed to someone that is sick. Mats are spaced out with a capacity of 20 students per class. Our yoga home is always kept sparkling clean and props are sanitized after every use.

In addition to the policies listed here Radiance Yoga reserves the right to post new policies and rules for our members. These policies must be obeyed for the general safety and mutual respect of our community members.
